8:30 am – 12 noon ~ Line the “Veteran’s Mile” FREE
The Veteran’s Mile starts at Shoreline Park (Shoreline Dr. & La Marina) and extends downhill where it ends @ LEADBETTER BEACH, Loma Alta & Cabrillo Blvd., Santa Barbara, CA 93109
Come out to cheer the runners on the last mile dedicated to all Veterans. Bring the family and your camera for GREAT photo opportunities!
“Veteran’s Mile” will be decorated with American flags and campaign flags from all the wars/conflicts of the 20th century as well as military vehicles in a static display. Runners really like getting cheered on for the final mile by you!

5:00 p.m. 19th Annual Military Ball, The Fess Parker, 633 E. Cabrillo Blvd., Santa Barbara, CA 93101
Formal Evening includes: Cocktail hour, live music, three-course dinner, dancing to the sounds of the Art Deco Band, plus a souvenir photo, and PCVF’s Greatest Generation Award presented to longtime local resident, Sam Cathcart, WWII veteran. Keynote Speaker is General William Begert, Four Star General and Commander, Pacific Air Forces USAF (Ret), current Vice President of Military Engines, Pratt Whitney. COST: Military Ball $125. per person Some sponsored tickets available to active-duty military personnel.

12 Noon - Veterans Day Parade FREE
Starts @ at Sola & State Streets ends on W. Cabrillo Blvd.
More than 20 different vintage military vehicles along with local veteran’s groups, the Sea Cadets, UCSB ROTC Surfrider Battalion and more march down State Street for a rolling closure parade. Fantastic fly-over of helicopters & classic military aircraft will announce the start of the parade. Route heads down State Street to Cabrillo Blvd., where it turns right, ending @ Veterans Memorial Building, 112 W. Cabrillo Blvd.
SPECIAL NOTE: Approx. 12:45pm - Astounding Flyover of 15+ vintage airplanes in various formations!
2:30 pm Veterans Day Concert FREE

This year’s theme is “Honoring Women in the Military” One-hour program of patriotic songs, soloists, choirs & speakers ends the weekend on a high note.
